Top down spreading to XMLA model vs. in the workbook

Compared with top down spreading in the cell-based workbook, top down spreading to an XMLA model works like this:

• To initiate the top down spread to a model from the worksheet, you must click Save on the CPM Analysis toolbar or menu.
• Every MPCData formula cell or MPCPushData formula cell in the dataset that has changed will be written to or top down spread to the model.
• If the member you are writing to has a schedule formula, no data will be written.
• If the member you are writing to has some members below it with formulas, some data will be spread (to the members without formulas), but you will not get the correct total.
