Cannot find dimension member error

If the formula error - cannot find dimension member error message is displayed after refreshing a workbook, there are four possible causes:

• XMLA Data sources Only: A shared workbook includes at least one dimension member that is restricted to the user attempting to open the workbook. For this reason, we do not recommend sharing the workbook with restricted users.
• XMLA Data sources Only: The dimension has multiple hierarchies, one of which includes only a single member. To work around this issue, add a dummy member to the hierarchy with a single member.
• XMLA Data sources Only: A selected member was deleted from the model before the workbook was refreshed. To resolve, open the Member Selection dialog box for the dimension with the deleted member. The deleted member should not display in the list for selection. Clear the current member selection, and then select the members again. Repeat for each affected dataset.
• XMLA Relational Data sources Only: A shared workbook includes at least one dimension for which all the members are restricted to the user.
