Top down spreading

Top down spreading is a method used to proportionally change periodic leaf data based on a value specified for a non-leaf member or specified over a formula. The value is pro-rated among leaf members, or formula component members, based on the ratio of existing leaf data, or formula component member data. This enables you to set high-level targets and ensures the details are adjusted to reach that target.
