Setting up the model

After you import the datasets in the form of groups in Dataset Collection activity and prepare the data, setup model activity must be configured.

For equation building

  1. Drag and drop the Setup Model activity box to the canvas. The Setup Model activity catalog opens displaying two options: Setup model (equation-building model) and Custom algorithm.
  2. Select Setup Model.
  3. Specify a name.
  4. Optionally, specify a description.
  5. Specify the parameters, indices, dimensions, domain, and equations for constraints and objective functions as required.
  6. Click Save.

For custom algorithms

  1. Drag and drop the Setup Model activity box to the canvas. The Setup Model activity catalog opens displaying two options: Setup model (equation-building model) and Custom algorithm.
  2. Select Custom Algorithm.
  3. Specify a name.
  4. Optionally, specify a description.
  5. Select the custom algorithm from the list.
  6. If needed, adjust any parameters.
  7. Click Save.
