Importing data

The first step in building the training quest is to import a loaded dataset.

  1. Select Machine Learning > Quests.
  2. Click Create new.
  3. Specify a name for the quest. These are the valid characters: A-Za-z0-9@#$&:[]-`.+, "s_
  4. Optionally, specify a description.
  5. Drag the Import Data activity box to the canvas.
  6. Select the Import Data activity box to display the Datasets field on the right-hand panel.
  7. Select a dataset from the menu.
  8. Click Save.
  9. Select the output port of the Import Data activity box to display the dataset in a grid followed by a histogram of distribution by dataset columns.
    Understand the data that you are using so you can refine the selection of features that will be used in the machine learning process.
