Design quest

The design part of the quest involves building a business use case or problem statement in an analytical way. Then apply a solver to it to attain the respective optimal solution. The optimal solution is the end result, which is improved executing iteratively as per the defined objective function.

The process includes multiple steps running in a constructed sequence. You can design multiple models in parallel for one business use case or problem statement inside one quest applying various other solvers that are available. Up to four models can be compared by viewing the results in one screen to decide which model works best for your needs.

You can change the objective function equations, reset constraints, and rerun the entire quest or one particular model with one particular solver and verify the results.

There are three preconfigured solvers that are available. Only those three solvers can be applied to the configuration individually to attain the optimal solution. For custom algorithms, any custom solver other than these three preconfigured solvers can be brought in to solve the model.

Under the design quest, except for results, single and multiple activities can be created and utilized respectively based on the configuration needs.
