Optimization results

As soon as the optimize model run is complete, the results are generated and displayed under the results tile within the quest. For each optimize model run there is a results card generated based on the defined objective function. If the optimize model is rerun, then the results for that respective optimize model run are overwritten.

There are three tabs for this results tile: Results, Comparison model, and Summary.

Click Log to access the technical audit log.

The result of each optimize model is comparable on the Results tab and the Comparison model tab. You can evaluate the results by looking at the results generated for each solver and can decide the best possible solver configuration to be moved to production.

Results tab

This tab displays the solutions for all the optimize model runs along with the respective iterations.

The detailed results page has the solution displayed in the collapsible format. There is high-level information on each collapsible tab. When you expand the tab, it shows all the details related to optimal solution.

The high-level information on the tab displays the most optimal solution results along with an icon displaying the number of iterations that was taken to reach the optimal solution and the Results output button that has decision variable values for equation building model or custom algorithm output housed under it.

Click Export to move the configuration to production.

Comparison model tab

This tab displays a graphical representation of the optimize model run. It displays the objective values on y-axis and number of iterations it took to reach optimal solution on the x-axis. The dots on the line graph represents the iterations. When you move the pointer over the dots, a box opens showing all the detailed results for that particular iteration.

Note: Comparison is not generated for a custom algorithm model.

Summary tab

This tab displays summarized information about how many decision variables, constraints, objective functions, and so on, have been used by problem to arrive to the optimal solution.

Note: Summary is not generated for a custom algorithm model.
