Objective functions tab
Use the Objective function tab to maximize or
minimize a numeric value. The numeric value is in the form of an equation to solve the
optimization problems.

| Sense | Yes | Dropdown | Select the minimum and maximum for the business goal. |
| Function declaration | Yes | Free text editor | Specify the objective function for the equations. Click the icon to open the Expression builder where you can specify the equation. The Expression builder can also be used to insert functions, sets, indices, constants, and parameters. |
