Setting up a workflow schedule

  1. Navigate to Workflow Schedules.
  2. Click Add to set up a schedule for the workflow.
  3. Specify a name for the schedule.
  4. Optionally, specify a description.
  5. Click the Schedule tab to configure the workflow schedule frequency. The retraining frequency should go along the frequency of the variations in the data expected to affect the model learning and predictions.
    For instance, new data on a daily or weekly basis most probably will not change the model behavior. While monthly, seasonally, or yearly is a period where new data is acquired that is significant for the model learning.

    We recommend you perform a specific use case analysis in regard to setting the suitable frequency.

    1. Select the time zone.
    2. Specify a start date and time.
    3. Specify a recurrence pattern for the schedule.
    4. Click Show Preview to see a sample of how the schedule will run with the selected options.
  6. Click the Action tab and select the name of the workflow that should be started by this schedule.
  7. Select the trigger workflow instance:
    Option Description
    Run in parallel Not supported. If this is selected, the Skip running workflow option is used.
    Skip running workflow This is the only option that will be applied in situations when there is already a process started and not yet completed. The schedule will not start a new workflow instance.
    Cancel running workflow Cancels the workflow.
  8. Save and activate the workflow schedule.
