Publishing the widget

After the widget is configured, you must publish the widget. When the widget is published the configuration is read-only and a unique widget ID is assigned.

Testing and configuration preview is available for published widgets. Editing the configuration is enabled only for the original author of the widget. If modifications are made, you must republish the widget to see the latest changes in the in-context application.

The widget ID is used as a part of the in-context application configuration.
