Alphanumeric handling in Alexa

There are limitations on using alphanumeric and numeric characters with Alexa voice. Coleman may interpret an utterance different from its intended value. For example, if a user says LOC1, the value can be interpreted as loc1, LoC1, or L OC one.

The best practice is to assign a number to each option and list all options that include an alphanumeric and/or numeric value. For example, state options as 1 = LOC1, 2 = LOC2, 3 = LOC3. The user states the assigned number to select an option.
