Disabling a skill

You can disable a skill and it is no longer available in production.

  1. Locate and select the deployed skill.
  2. Click Disable.

    The skill is now unavailable to users. Attempting to start the skill by inputting its utterance results in an error message.

    Any existing copies of the skill are removed from test and deployed sets. This may take a few minutes. After the skill has been removed from the test and deployed sets, the skill’s utterance is no longer recognized. The skill is now in a disabled state.

    Optionally, you can re-enable the skill by selecting Enable. The skill is moved to a draft state. The skill must be built and deployed again to be made available to users.
  3. Optionally, click Delete to delete the skill.
