Adding Document Capture to Infor OS

  1. Add an application for Document Capture.
    1. Log on to Infor OS as an administrator or open the previous session.
    2. On the User Menu, select Admin Settings.
    3. Click Add Application.
    4. Specify this information:
      Application Type
      Specify Non-Infor.
      Application Name
      Specify Document Capture.
      Application URL
      Specify the Ephesoft Transact URL that is provided in the email from subscription@infor.com.
      Icon
      Select any of the available icons for the Capture application and select a color of choice.
      Pass Parameters in the Iframe URL
      Clear this check box.
    5. Click Save.
    6. Click the Permissions tab.
    7. Click Add new users or IFS Security Roles.
    8. In the search box, specify IDMCapture. These security roles should be displayed:
      • IDMCAPTURE-User
      • IDMCAPTURE-Administrator
      • IDMCAPTURE-SystemAdministrator
    9. For the security roles that are listed above, select the check boxes.
    10. Click Done.
    11. Click Save.
  2. Add a service provider.
    1. Click the User Menu icon.
    2. On the User Menu, select User Management.
    3. Click the upper left Menu icon.
    4. Select Security Administration > Service Provider.
    5. Click the plus icon to add a service provider.
    6. Specify this information:
      Application Type
      Specify IDMCAPTURE.
      Display Name
      Specify IDM Capture.
      This field is case-sensitive.
      Entity ID
      Specify the SP Entity ID that you noted previously.

      This field is case-sensitive.
      SSO Endpoint
      Ensure HTTP Post is selected.
      Copy the Ephesoft Transact URL from the email that is provided by subscription@infor.com and paste it in the SSO Endpoint field.
      Add /saml/SSO to the end of the URL.
      Example: <Ephesoft Transact Application URL>/saml/SSO
      SLO Endpoint
      Ensure HTTP Post is selected.
      Copy the Ephesoft Transact URL from the email that is provided by subscription@infor.com and paste it in the SLO Endpoint field.
      Add /saml/logout to the end of the URL.
      Example: <Ephesoft Transact Application URL>/saml/logout
      Signing Certificate
      Upload the appropriate .cer file. To do this:
      1. Access the email from subscription@infor.com. This email should contain an .abc file.
      2. Right-click the .abc file.
      3. Select Save As and save the file locally.
      4. In the file name, replace the .abc extension with .cer.
      5. Click the file folder icon next to the Signing Certificate field.
      6. Upload the .cer file you just saved locally.
    7. Click the Save icon.
  3. Export SAML metadata to a file.
    1. On the row that has IDM Capture as Display Name, click the icon under Edit.
    2. The service provider details are displayed. Under Identity Provider Information, click View.
    3. In the Identity Provider Information dialog box, click Export SAML Metadata.
      Note: Save this file so that you can upload it when you configure SSO for Ephesoft Transact.
