Configuring SSO for Ephesoft Transact

  1. Upload the metadata file.
    1. In the email that is provided by subscription@infor.com, select the URL for Ephesoft Configuration Administration.
    2. Log on to the application. Use the provided username and password. The credentials are sent by subscription@infor.com.
      The Transact SSO Configuration Manager screen is displayed.
    3. In the Import IDP Metadata field, select File.
    4. In the IDP Metadata File field, click Choose File.
    5. A file selection window is displayed. Locate and select the Ephesoft Transact metadata file that you saved when you added Document Capture to Infor OS.
      Then click Open.
    6. The name of the selected file is displayed in the Transact SSO Configuration Manager screen. Click Upload File.
    7. If the file upload is successful, a message is displayed: “File successfully uploaded.
      Click Ok.
  2. Configure SSO for Ephesoft Transact.
    1. Click Configure to configure SSO for Ephesoft Transact.
    2. A message is displayed: “This will configure SSO for Transact. Are you sure you want to proceed?
      Click Ok.
    3. If the configuration is successful, a message is displayed: “SSO successfully configured.
      Click Ok.
  3. Restart Ephesoft Transact.
    1. Click Restart Transact in the Transact SSO Configuration Manager screen
    2. You are prompted whether you want to restart Transact.
      Click Ok.
      This process takes approximately five minutes. Refresh the browser to check progress. When the service has restarted, the Transact SSO Configuration Manager screen is displayed.

  4. Test the SSO configuration from the Infor Portal Application Menu. Log off and on to the Infor Portal. Click the Document Capture icon.
  5. Add the IDMCAPTURE security roles to all users who should work in Document Capture (Ephesoft Transact).
