Displaying conditionals in Designer

Use this procedure to show or hide elements in a report, such as sub-reports, labels or images, based on the result of a query. The selected entity is displayed if the BQL expression evaluates to true.

  1. From the Designer report, select an entity.
  2. Select the Conditional Display icon.
  3. Specify an expression that returns a boolean value. The selected entity is displayed if the BQL expression evaluates to true.
  4. Click Done.
  5. If a report has a condition effecting it, the Conditional Display icon is available.
