How is the Drill Down different than Drill Across?

Drill Down goes to another chart that shows a lower level of detail about the same information, such as from a summary of all sales result to details about a specific sales region.

Drill Across is a link to another dashboard that usually has related information, such as a link from a sales dashboard to a marketing dashboard.
