Locales
Locale settings control how currency values are rendered. For example, if you select Deutsch (Germany), currency values display in European decimal notation (##.###,##).
Locale also controls the date format. For example, English (United States) dates use a month-first format (08/09/2022) and in UK English, dates use a day-first (09/08/2022).
Note: Variables, both built-in and custom, use a "Varchar" data type and
cannot be localized. For example, if you add a custom variable using a date to a dashboard,
and then change the locale or language, the date format does not change.
