Hiding dashboards in the drawer and breadcrumbs

In some designs you want more control over when and how a user gets to a dashboard. You can make dashboards invisible so that they do not display in the dashboards drawer or breadcrumbs.

Note: You can however add a drill-across link from a dashlet on another dashboard to access the hidden dashboard.

To hide a dashboard:

  1. Click the Dashboards Folder icon to open the Dashboard Drawer.
  2. Click the Actions icon, and then select Invisible to hide the dashboard.
    The dashboard is hidden. In the dashboards list or collections list, this dashboard displays an Invisible Eye icon to indicate the dashboard is hidden. You and other authors with Dashboard Edit permissions can see it but other end users cannot.
