Adding buttons

  1. Click Insert, then click Button.


  2. Specify the button Label.
    Note: You can use variables, with either the GetVariable('variable_name') or V{variable_name} syntax, in the button label text.
  3. Deselect and reselect to move the button.
  4. To resize a button, select it, and drag the resize indicators.
  5. To change the text again, select the button and then click Edit, then Edit Button.
  6. Specify the new text. Click outside the button to deselect it.
  7. To change the colors or border, select the button, click Edit, and use the menu bar options. Buttons have a text color option.
  8. To add a drill-across link that opens another dashboard in the same space, select the button, click Edit, and click Drill Across.
