Account group support in Packages

Except for the existing Space groups support, administrators can assign, view, and control package access through structures on the Account groups tab. This provides a scalable, identity-based permission for organizations that manage packages across multiple spaces and accounts.

Account group-based Package Permissions: Similar to the existing Space groups function, you can assign Packages with Account groups. To assign packages, click either the Account groups or Space groups tab.

Tabbed interface in Package Permissions: The Package Permissions interface has separate tabs for selecting account and space groups. This enhances usability and clarity.

Searching in a group selection: Search bars are available on both Account groups and Space groups tabs. You can find needed information fast without having to scroll.

Modal warning on the Group Type option: When you switch between the Account groups and Space groups tabs, you are prompted to confirm that your last selection will be cleared. This prevents accidental changes.

API enhancements: The REST and SOAP APIs for packages support account group IDs and names in payloads. Those enhancements are fully backward compatible with the existing space group-based behavior.
