Application management
Application Management shows all applications, such as Infor CloudSuite Financials, that are provisioned with Birst on your account. The applications are listed in a collapsed state. You can expand Birst details for that application. Application Management helps you understand the resources included in each application, such as Spaces, Workflows, or Connections. You can also create your own custom applications.
To view the Birst Applications available in your account in a table, select .
- Black icons represent read-only Standard Meta Data (SMD) applications.
- Blue icons represent active (Live) applications.
Click the name of an application to expand a list of metadata objects associated with it. You can also navigate directly to Spaces or Workflows included in your analytics solution by selecting them from the table.
This table shows the columns and their descriptions:

| Resource Type | The type of the Birst resource or object, for example Space. |
| Resource Name | The unique business name of the Birst resource or object defined by product teams |
| Birst Object Name | The name of the object in the application. |
| Birst Object ID | The ID of the object in the application. |
| Resource Tag | The Business Name that identifies the Birst object in a given application configured by the product teams. This column usually lists a set of names or tags that enable you to identify uses for the resource or object in the application. |
