Application management

Application Management displays all applications, such as Infor Cloud Suite Financials, that are provisioned with Birst on your account. The applications are listed in a collapsed state but can be opened to display Birst details for that application. Application Management allows users to understand the resources (Spaces, Workflows, Connections, and so on) included in their Infor delivered content or applications.

You can navigate to Admin > Application Management to view the Birst Applications available in your account in a table.

Note: The icons for Birst applications are color coded. Black colored icons for Birst objects are read-only standard meta data (SMD) applications. Blue colored icons for Birst objects are Live (active) applications.

Clicking the name of the application expands a list of metadata objects associated with that application. You can also navigate directly to spaces or workflows included in your analytics solution by clicking into it from the table.

The columns in the table provide information about the objects of that application. This table shows the columns and their descriptions:


Column Name	Description
Resource Type	The type of the Birst resource or object, such as a Space.
Resource Name	The unique business name of the Birst resource or object defined by product teams
Birst Object Name	The name of the object in Birst.
Birst Object ID	The ID of the object in Birst.
Resource Tag	The Business Name which identify the Birst object in a given application configured by the product teams. Usually, this column lists a set of name(s) or tags that allow you to identify uses for the resource or object in the application.
