Packages

A package is a set of metadata that the program copies from a space. Child spaces use this metadata in managed data mashups. The program imports the parent space metadata to child spaces and adds the imported metadata to the metadata that exists in each child space.

Use the General tab to view dependent objects. You can add objects to the package or remove objects from it. When you select an object, the program includes all dependent objects.

Use the Access tab to specify which groups in the space have package access. Select a group to grant access, or clear a group to remove access.

Use the Usage tab to specify which spaces use the package. You can remove access from a space. If you remove access, the package continues to appear in the Packages tab in the child space. The program marks the package as Unavailable.
