Designer is used to develop highly formatted enterprise reports. Designer is intended for data analysts and other data savvy users to build specific applications and reports, such as income statements and balance sheets.
Key Features in Designer:
- Notifications in Designer
It displays associated Dashboard Notifications and Visualizer Notifications. You can only manage the Designer notifications in Designer.
- Sorting and filtering in Designer
Applied filters on the report are displayed at the top of the report. Pause on the filter to view more information.
- Report bursting
This is the process of creating a single base report that delivers different results to each person who views that report.
- Designer exception reports
This is a report that only produces results when a defined threshold is not met. You can schedule this report to run on a regular basis and use it to trigger the distribution of another report whenever the exception report returns a result, such as exceptions.
