Dashboard
You can use dashboards to create, manage, and view interactive dashboards that contain reports, tables, and charts built in Designer and Visualizer. With Dashboards, you can display data and related metrics in a way that is easy for users to consume, analyze, and perform an action if required.
Key Features in Dashboards:
-
Dashboard filters
Dashboards provide filters to explore different levels of detail. There are different types of filters that you can use to drill into different sets of information, for example a filter can show a subset of a group of items, or a range of dates.
-
Dashboard Notifications
Notifications send regularly scheduled emails with an attachment of a single report or entire dashboard. Notifications show a snapshot of the report at the time the notification is created.
-
Dashboard Themes
Themes are used to present a consistent look-and-feel across dashboards. Birst provides a default theme that you can copy and update to your own standards. You can create your own theme, copy a theme to a new theme, or manage existing themes.
-
Drill-across Links
A drill-across link connects a button, chart, image, KPI, or tabular report to another dashboard. You can click on the item you designated and another dashboard opens.
-
Smart Insights
Smart Insights uses Smart Data Discovery patents to generate and display statistically significant personalized insights about a given KPI for each user.
