Custom Attributes and Measures

Use the Custom attributes and Measures tab to create new items that derive from existing attributes and measures. These items support advanced reporting and analysis.

You can use Custom Attributes to combine or transform existing attributes, for example concatenate names and extract date parts.

Select Admin > Space Management > Custom Attributes & Measures.
Click Custom Attributes tab and click + Create New button.
Specify the Name field, select Dimension, and add Formula.
Click the Use Columns button to select columns.
Click Save.

You can use Custom Measures to calculate new metrics from existing measures, such as revenue = quantity × price.

Click Custom Measures tab and click + Create New button.
Specify the Name field, select Aggregation Rule, and add Formula.
Click Save.

Note: Avoid more than 10 nested IF statements.

Custom measures are not supported for Live Access sources.
