The Birst Cloud Agent is a lightweight, cloud-managed Java application that connects to data sources behind an organization’s firewall. The agent extracts data into Birst or provides Live Access to sources that are behind a firewall.
The Birst Cloud Agent operates at the account level, and any space in the account uses it.
Birst Connect 2.0 is a Java command-line application that extracts data from JDBC data sources into Birst.
