Configuring S3 Data Sources

Select the Amazon S3 connector from the Connector section or click the existing Amazon S3 connection from the Connections panel.
Click the Edit button to select the tables and columns for the connection.
Select a bucket from the list of available S3 buckets.
After you select the bucket, select the files from the bucket you want to download.

Note: Enable Download Modified Files Only to download files that were modified since the last extraction.
If the files are encrypted using a custom S3 encryption key, you can add the encryption key to the files. To add an encryption key for multiple files:
1. Select the files and click the Encryption Key icon next to the Search field. Optionally, click the Add an encryption key icon next to a file to add an encryption key to a single file.
2. Specify the custom S3 encryption key.
3. Click Add Key.
4. Click Download.
Select the data fields to import to your space, and then click Done.
After downloading your files, you can use the Import S3 Connector Data button to extract your information.
To make changes to the selected files or append files, click Edit. For information on appending files, see Appending Files to S3 Data Sources.

Note: You can sign out from Birst while extraction runs and sign in later.
