Enabling Birst GenAI features

To enable the GenAI Embedded Experience for Birst, your organization must complete licensing, tenant provisioning, and workspace activation.

Birst GenAI features are available through the license with Infor Velocity Suite. If your organization subscribes to Infor Velocity Suite, GenAI capabilities, including Birst GenAI features, are included in the subscription. No additional order is required.

Enabling GenAI features at the tenant level

Two account-level flags must be active on your tenant for Birst GenAI features to work:
Flag Purpose
GenAI (infor.genai.genai) Enables the core GenAI platform capabilities for the tenant
Birst GenAI (infor.birstgenai.birstgenai) Enables Birst-specific GenAI features and provisions the GenAI data store for the tenant
Manage these flags in the CloudSuite Self-Service Portal (CSSP):
  1. Sign in to the CloudSuite Self-Service Portal.
  2. Select Multi-Tenant > Customers.
  3. Search for the tenant name.
  4. Click the Features tab.
  5. Select GenAI in the Feature Type field.
  6. Confirm that the GenAI and Birst GenAI flags are enabled.
    Note: For Velocity Suite customers, these flags are typically activated automatically as part of the subscription. For SPOT order customers, the flags become available after order processing is complete
