Data Tools

Data Tools provides centralized access to metadata management and analysis tools in Birst. These tools help users understand, govern, and reuse assets across the Birst environment.

Administrators receive access to Data Tools by default. Administrators can grant access to other users.

This table lists the features that are available in Data Tools.

Space feature	Description
Filter Management	The Filter Management is a module where you can create, edit, delete, search, and export filters.
Expression Library	The Expression Library is a module in which you can manage all expressions that are available in Visualizer and Designer within a space.
Impact Flow	The Impact Flow module shows how data elements, such as Measures and Attributes, are interconnected across reports, dashboards, and other BI assets.
