Sorting by date in reports

When you sort a Designer or Visualizer report by Date, values are sorted based on their sequential order, for example days of the week and months of the year, instead of alphabetically. This ensures that the dates are sorted in a logical, calendar-based order, making it easier to analyze time-based data.

If the time attribute used is Month or Day, the sorting follows the standard calendar sequence.

For example, if the time attribute is Day, the data is sorted as Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, etc. If the time attribute is Month, the order is January, February, etc.
