Formatting the X axis labels

  1. Click Chart Formatting (the paintbrush icon). The Chart Formatting panel opens.
  2. Click the X-Axis tab on the left side. The X-Axis formatting panel opens.
  3. At the top of the panel, you can use the X-Axis toggle to turn the X axis on or off. When it is off, it does not show on the chart.
  4. Update the font face, font style, font size, font color, or font highlight of the X axis title.
  5. Scroll down to the Tickmark Labels section to change the font face, font style, font size, font color, or highlight of the X axis tickmark labels.
  6. Scroll down to change the values in the Axis color or Axis thickness fields for the X axis baseline rule, or switch the Axis toggle off. For example, here is a yellow color, XL thickness baseline:

  7. If using a date type on the X axis, select a format from the Date Formats options.
  8. Click Done.
