Formatting legends

  1. Open the Chart Formatting Legends panel. You can:
    • Hover over the legend bar, then click the Formatting icon.
    • Or click Chart Formatting (the paintbrush icon), then click the Legends tab on the left side.
  2. Toggle whether to display the legend or not.
  3. Update the Legend Position.
  4. In the Text section, specify the formats for these font elements:
    Font Face
    Select the desired font face (such as Open Sans) from the drop-down.
    Font Style
    Select the font style (such as Normal) from the drop-down.
    Font Size
    Select the size for the font (i.e., 12 or 14) from the drop down.
    Font Color
    Select the color for the font from the drop-down.
  5. Update the background color of the legend on the Background field.
  6. Format the color and size for the Border field.
  7. Click Done.
