Setting up cloud server profile in Birst mobile app

To use Infor authentication through the ION API gateway, the user needs to get the server profile into the Birst mobile app. That can be donein two ways:

  1. From within Birst mobile app, navigate to the Server Settings screen to scan the server profile QR code.
    The QR code is visible in Infor OS Portal > Apps and Authorizations > Desktop and Mobile Applications.
    Note: There is always a specific QR code for the concrete Infor mobile app.
  2. If company uses Mobile Device Management (MDM), server profiles can be preconfigured for all end users from the MDM portal. Set the Managed Server X key where X is a number from 1 to N and the value is the server profile. See Mobile device management (MDM) settings.
    After the server profile is imported in the app and the user is granted mobile access, the user can log in using their credentials. See Granting users access to Birst Mobile for more information on user access.
    Note: For the user credentials, the user must have the app protected by a passcode, faceID, or touchID.
