Creating custom application

Birst Administrators can create a custom application in Application Management.

  1. From Admin, click Application Management.
  2. Click + Create Application
  3. Specify this information in the Create New Application window:
    Application Name
    The name of your custom application.
    Application Description
    A description for the custom application.
    Product Name
    The product name to use for the application and what this solution is for. Typically, the product name corresponds to an application available in the CloudSuite Portal, such as M3 Analytics Food & Beverage.
    Product Short Name
    A short abbreviation to use for the product's short name. Using the M3 Analytics Food & Beverage example, the short name is M3afb.
    Product Version
    The Infor product release version to be used application.
    Application Logical ID
    Specify the first value for the logical ID used to identify your custom application in a Tenant environment. For example, infor.
    Application logical IDs are constructed of three values separated by periods. The first value usually identifies the owner of the application, such as infor. The second and third values are populated based on what you specified as the Product Short Name and cannot be edited.
  4. Click Save.
    After creating the custom application, it is displayed in the Application Management table. Next, you can assign resources to your custom application.
