Adding tooltips to KPI dashlets

  1. Select the KPI.
  2. Click Edit
  3. Click the Edit Dashlet Properties icon.


  4. In the Description field, specify the text you want the user to see. For more control over formatting, you can use carriage returns and extra spaces in the text.


    Note: Use variables in the description box with either the GetVariable('variable_name') or V{variable_name} syntax.
  5. Click Apply.
  6. Publish (save) the dashboard. Rest your cursor over the KPI to see its tooltip.
