User notifications in Orchestration

Orchestration can send notifications to users in your company for when scheduled and manual workflows are run. You can configure notifications for Orchestration, by adding email contacts to the notification details.

To add user notifications to a workflow:

  1. In Orchestration, select the workflow from the Workflow list.
  2. Click Actions for the selected workflow.
  3. Select User Notifications from the Actions menu.
  4. Add email contacts to the Send Notifications to table. You can:
    • Use the Search by email field to search for the email contacts within your application.
    • Click + to specify a specific email address, and then click Confirm.
    • Use the Filter option to filter the email addresses in the table.
    • To remove a contact, click Delete on an existing email address.
    When the workflow runs, both from a schedule or manually, Birst sends a notification to the users added in the table.
