Custom application

In addition to viewing the applications in Application Management, you can also create your own custom applications.

When you create a custom application and define its application objects, you can assign a main consumer space for the application to use. Only one consumer space can be assigned per custom application. Then, you can assign additional resources. The available resource types you can add to a custom application are Space, Workflow, Connection, and Account Settings.

Note: Space, workflow, and connection resources can only be assigned as a resource to one custom application. Account settings, such as color palettes and themes, can be assigned as a resource to multiple custom applications. Connections are shared connections not space connections.

Optionally, if you created an analytics widget in Infor OS Portal, you can set a custom application with a consumer space resource as your widget's content application. This way, your widget can use that content application's space.

To learn more about the analytics widget, see Birst analytics widget in the Infor Birst and OS Portal User Guide.
