Changing the default start page and space

By default when you log in, the All Spaces page opens. This page shows a list of all the spaces to which your user account has access or has used.

You can also change the default page that displays when you log in to be the Space Overview page for a default space. In addition, you can set your default to show the Dashboards page instead.

Note: Space Administrators can change these settings for users. See the setuserdefaultspace Administrative Command.

To change your default space or display the Dashboards page after logging in:

  1. Click the Global Navigation Menu and select your user account ID in the menu to open the User Profile page.
  2. Click Defaults.
  3. Select a space from the Default space list field.
    If you apply a default space to your name, the Space Overview page for that space is displayed as the Home page for your user. The Space Overview page shows details for that specific space.
  4. Optionally, enable Default to Dashboards so that the Dashboards page of this default space is automatically displayed when you log in.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Log out of the application and then log back in to use the new settings.
