Notifications in Space Management

You can create and manage notifications from Notifications in Space Management. The Notification Center in Space Management lists these notifications from these sources:

Report Scheduler
Designer
Visualizer
Dashboards
Dashlets

Administrators can see all notifications from all notification sources in the Notification Center in Space Management. Additionally, administrators can edit any existing notification from Space Management regardless of the notification source.

Note: Only Designer notifications can be created through Notifications in Space Management. Visualizer and Dashboard notifications are listed but can only be created through the Visualizer and Dashboard modules. Visualizer reports are scheduled in Dashboards.

Administrators and notification creators can edit notifications. Users without administrator access can only see their notifications. Non-administrators cannot edit notifications that they are not the owner or creator of but they can see a view-only version of the notification.

You can enable or disable any notification on the fly from Space Management using the toggles in the Notification Center.

Administrators can give users permission to schedule reports in Designer and in Dashboards by selecting Enable Self-Scheduling in Group Permissions.

Space Administrators can also set up report bursting and exception reporting.
