Applying a Designer report style

Use this procedure to apply the styles from an existing report to a new report instead of setting each of the individual formatting elements. Any saved Designer report can be used as a report style. The formatting elements such as colors, margins, chart layout properties, chart borders, and backgrounds are be applied. You can apply a report style to tabular reports, pivot reports, and charts.

  1. Select Apply Report Style from the Report Settings menu.
  2. Find the report to apply the style settings from.
    Note: Spaces have a default report located in a Styles folder within the Shared folder (//shared/styles). This default report contains suggested styles that can be applied to other reports.
  3. Use the Preview icon to preview the report before selecting it.
  4. After you select the report, the changes are automatically applied.
