Using filters and associating filters with dashlets

  1. In Edit mode, click the Filters icon to open the Filters panel.
  2. Click Manage to open the Edit Filters panel.
  3. You can either create a new filter, filter a group, or edit an existing filter.
    1. To create a new filter, click + Create New Filter and define a new filter or filter group.
    2. To edit an existing filter, click the Edit icon for the filter you want, and then edit the filter's properties.
    Note: Custom Sets can also be used as dashboard filters.
    When you enable a filter, a Filter icon displays on the lower right of all dashlets. If you do not want a filter applied to a highlighted dashlet, click the dashlet to deselect it.
  4. To close or exit the Filters list, click the Filters menu again. Applied settings will persist in the drawer until you edit them.
