Converting Original Dashboards to Dashboards 2.0

Existing Original Dashboards can be copied to the new Dashboard 2.0 framework. Much of the conversion is handled by the import operation.

This list shows the import functionality:

• Import all public dashboards to which the user has access.
• Create the new dashboard collection and all dashboards.
• Apply all folder security to the dashboard collections converted.
• Converted pages contain all dashlets placed in a similar layout. The new dashboards and dashlets can be edited. This list shows items that are not copied:
  • Prompts
  • Embedded prompts
  • Dashboard page properties
  • Dashlet properties - Title, Export options, Column and View Selector, Enable Prompts, View Mode
  • Dashlet report schedules
  • Bookmarks
  • Sticky Notes
  • Global Properties
  • External Visualizations
