Using a Saved Expression in an Original Dashboard Prompt
You can use a saved expression in a prompt in an Original Dashboard.
First create a report in Classic Designer containing the saved expression. After
adding the report containing the saved expression to a dashlet in Dashboard
Edit mode, you can add the saved expression as a prompt.
A dashboard user will be able to filter the report in the dashlet using
the prompt containing the saved expression.
The report must contain the saved expression in order to use the saved
expression as a prompt. The report does not need to contain a prompted
filter for the saved expression.
