Creating Birst Applications in Infor Ming.le

When setting up embedded Birst reports, you will need to first follow the steps up for setting up the Birst SAML configuration and Infor Ming.leTM Service Provider outlined in Embedding Birst in Infor Ming.le Pages.
To integrate Birst with the Infor OS, the Birst Account needs to be integrated with the Infor IFS by providing the corresponding SAML Configuration ID.

Loading the Birst application allows a user to have direct access to the Birst dashboards in Infor Ming.le, as well as access the rest of the Birst app (Visualizer, etc.) directly from Infor Ming.le.

  12. Feel free to leave "Port", "Context", "Default Tenant" fields empty.
  13. Save the configuration. You will see a message confirming your application has been saved. If you do not see this message, the Infor Ming.le application may have timed out and you will need to start the process over.
  14. After you click OK to verification message, The Admin Settings page opens. Click the "Custom Parameters" tab.
  15. You will need to enter the Identity provider ID (which is the GUID portion of your Service Provider Entity ID in Birst SAML configuration as highlighted below, or the GUID portion of your Entity ID in Infor Ming.le Service Provider settings):

After a period of time, my Application is now available for selection.

Enter the path for your report in "Report" (e.g. "shared/My Report Name") Note: Using the Infor Ming.le application does not require SSO lile parameters such as Ceridian%20Reports for the report name "Ceridian Report". In the example above, we are looking for the report in our shared directory called "ASG Software".

The report(s) embedded into an Infor Ming.le page are interactive. I can drill into on report without impacting the other report on the page. The report on top was drilled for Tablet revenue in 07/2015. The second report has not been changed.

I can drill down on the second report without impacting the first reports drill down behavior.
