Posting a Message to Salesforce.com Chatter

When viewing a Birst dashboard within Salesforce.com, you can create a post for the Salesforce.com Chatter feed to comment on the dashboard. You can include either a link to the dashboard page or a PDF of the dashboard page with your comment.

This feature is only available when accessing a Birst dashboard from within Salesforce.com. The Post to Chatter option is not available from the stand-alone Birst application.

To post a message about a Infor Dashboard to Salesforce.com Chatter

Log in to your Salesforce.com account.
Select a tab or page containing a Infor dashboard.
To post a comment about the dashboard on Chatter, click the gear icon at the top of the dashboard page and select Page Options, Post to Chatter. The Post to Chatter dialog box opens.
Type your comment into the Comment field then select either Link to Page to include a link to the dashboard page in the chatter post or PDF of Page to include a PDF version of the dashboard in the post.
Click Post. The comment with the dashboard link or dashboard PDF will be posted to the Salesforce.com Chatter feed as in the following examples:
