Integrating Birst with Salesforce.com

You can integrate Birst dashboards within Salesforce.com. The following methods are available:

• Adding a tab for Birst in Salesforce.com
• Adding a Birst dashboard to a Visualforce page
• Posting a message to Chatter

Another way to interact with Salesforce.com is to use the Salesforce Connector to extract data and process it in Birst. See Salesforce Connector.

In addition to extraction, you can write directly to Salesforce.com objects using the ETL script command UPDATESFDC. See Writing Back to Salesforce.com.
