Adding Backgrounds

Dashboards can have a background color and/or an image. When you vertically scroll through the dashboard, the reports scroll and the background image stays in place.

To add a background color

1. Select Dashboard Settings - Dashboard Background. The Background Color button becomes available.
2. Select a color. By default the color has a slight gradation, with the bottom slightly darker than the top.
   
   

To select a background image

1. Select Dashboard Settings - Dashboard Background. The Background Image options become available.
2. Either:
   1. Enter a URL to an image option. The URL must be a valid, non-restricted link to an image file.
      
      Or:
   2. Click the folder icon to select an image from the report catalog.
      Tip: The Space Administrator can upload an image to the report catalog at Admin - Manage Access - Manage Report Catalog.
3. When you add an image its property options appear. You can stretch it, repeat it, keep the ratio the same, or change the opacity.
