Updating a User's Release Version
Account Administrators control to which Birst release users are assigned.
Tip: The version number displays at the bottom of the Home page.
Default Release Version
A user that is assigned to Default will always use the latest version of the previous feature release when logging in to login.bws.birst.com.
For example, when 5.7 is generally available (GA), users assigned Default will use 5.6. until 5.8 goes GA. When 5.8 goes GA, default users will automatically start using 5.7. Likewise, when a release is retired, users assigned to that release will be automatically assigned to the latest version of the previous feature release.
