Granting Account Administrator Status
An Account Administrator can grant Account Administrator status to another Birst user. Once the user has Account Administrator status, the user can access the User Management features.
You can update the administrator status for only one user at a time.
To enable or disable Account Administrator status
1. | On the Home page click User Management. The User
Management page opens. Tip: If you do not see this button at the upper right, you are not an Account Administrator and do not have access to this feature. |
2. | Without entering anything into the Username field,
click Search to bring up a list of all users. Alternatively, if you know
the exact user name, you can search for it. Tip: Click the Username column header to sort on that column. |
3. | Select the user name in the table, then click Update Admin Status. |
4. | Select whether to enable or disable Account Administrator status. |
5. | Click Continue. A confirmation message displays and the user is updated to the new status immediately. |
