Disabling or Enabling a User
An Account Administrator can disable a user account at any time. A disabled account cannot log into Birst. A disabled account can be re-enabled at any time.
Tip: An Account Administrator can delete a user account with the deleteuser command. See Deleting a User.
To disable or enable a user account
1. | On the Infor home page, click User Management.
The User Management page opens. If you do not see this button, you are not an Account Administrator and do not have access to this functionality. |
2. | Click Search
without entering anything into the Username field to bring up a list of
all Infor users or
search for the user account to disable/enable. Tip: In a list of users, click a column header such as Username to sort on that column. |
3. | Select one or more usernames. Ctrl-click to make multiple selections. Then click the Disable/Enable button. |
4. | Select Disable
or Enable from the list, then click Continue. If you disabled the account, you will see a red ball in the Disabled column for this user. If you have enabled an account, nothing will be displayed in the Disabled column. The new status takes effect immediately. |
